Crown Regency Beach Resort Boracay Sunset

Like the previous day’s afternoon, the sky blazed with fire once again. We were standing just a few meters away in front of our resort, our bare feet digging on the fine white sand of Boracay, watching the day consume its fiery end. Local paraw sailboats, their sails billowing, crisscross the horizon, blazing like dark candle lights in the incoming twilight.

As the day turned into night, we went back inside, unpacked our bags and promptly lay down the soft comfy beds of Crown Regency Boracay. It has been quite a day. From Galleria de Boracay, where we spent a night to save up a bit on budget before splurging our last few days on the island, we went on a Boracay island hopping adventure before proceeding to our final accommodation in Boracay.

THE SWIMMING POOLS AT THE SECOND FLOOR

I have previously stayed with one of the three Crown Regency resorts on the island, the Crown Regency Resort Boracay, their largest and most luxurious (it even has an oceanarium!) at Station 2. The only thing about it is that it’s not a beach front property, that title belongs to where we are currently lodged in, the Crown Regency Beach Resort.

CROWN REGENCY BEACH RESORT AT STATION THREE

The resort sits right along the tree-lined walkway along Station 3 of the Boracay White Beach. Most people might scoff at the notion of a four-star luxury resort on Station 3, but I actually like its location. It’s remote enough from the crowds of Station 2, but still walking distance away from the party happenings.

THE RESTAURANT AREA

Its Lobby Lounge, where we swiftly checked in, and restaurant opens directly to the beach, bringing in the sand and the sea during our daily complimentary breakfast buffet. During the evenings, they also offer buffet dinners with tables set below the coconut trees right on the beach itself.

AIRY AND SPACIOUS HALLWAYS

The interiors, especially the hallways along the rooms are light and airy, with skylights and atriums offering natural illumination during the day. The nautical decors, like old canoes and paddles, also add a very beachy vibe.

Crown Regency Beach Resort Boracay Deluxe Room
SPACIOUS ENOUGH FOR THREE PERSONS

We were billeted at their Deluxe Room—the price is actually quite reasonable for three persons—at the top-most floor of the hotel. It is spaced just right for three persons, with a double and single beds sharing space. It has all the amenities we could hope for, a mini-fridge, coffee-making facilities, a flatscreen television with cable, and an en suite toilet and bath with a tub.

I like the fact that it’s just a hop away from the elevator and has its own mini balcony for my frequent coffee fix. It’s also just a flight of stairs away from the infinity and kiddie pools (which my nephews enjoyed a lot, by the way) which is located on the second floor of the resort.

Crown Regency Beach Resort Boracay Breakfast Buffet
BREAKFAST BY THE BEACH!

But my favorite part of Crown Regency Beach Resort is really their restaurant, especially during the mornings. I’d take my usual plateful of crispy bacons, fried eggs and pancakes from the buffet spread, sit at the closest table to the beach and enjoy my breakfast while watching Boracay’s White Beach slowly wake up.
