Puerto Galera's White Beach

I swore off going back to Puerto Galera’s White Beach. It was more than six years ago since my first and last visit but I still recall the heavy and rowdy crowd, the unsightly shoreline filled with docked passenger boats and the chaos of the resorts fronting the beach.

But for some reason, here I am again. I guess one shouldn’t really base things on first impressions. Gone were the crowds and the docked boats, the resorts are still in disarray but it somehow looks better than what I remember. I never thought I’d say this, but Puerto Galera’s White Beach can be beautiful too.

  4. I've been wasted a million times in PG. Brought my parents there for Xmas and NY celebs. Also met an ex. It's sad to see the paved area inching closer to the water. But heck, the beach is still close to my heart :)

    1. It depends on your lifestyle, pero kung budget travel, pinaka-murang room na nakuha ko is Php500.00/night. Food can be less than a hundred per meal kung sa mga carinderia ka bibili.

  11. Puerto Galera can be considered as one of the cheapest alternative beaches with comparable recreational amenities. Spend less, beach more!
